New President for OXCEL Malaysia
OXCEL is pleased to annouce the appointment of DR MARIA RUFINA (Fellow of OXCEL) as the President of OXCEL Malaysia with effect from 1st March 2021.
Dr Maria Rufina is a Corporate Training Strategist and founder of ACE Biznez Services, with 27 years of experience in the field of human capital development, consultancy and quality assurance. She is a Certified Professional Facilitator with IAF (USA), has Certified Workplace Assessment (Cert IV) from Australia and is exemption Certificate from HRDF. To date, she has trained over 50,000 people both locally and internationally in the areas of Strategic Thinking & Planning, Management & Leadership Development, Train the Trainer and Teambuilding among others.
Dr Maria Rufina earned her BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and MBA in Finance from University Malaya and her DBA from European-American University. She was conferred a Fellow of OXCEL in 2011.
As a President of OXCEL Malaysia, Dr Maria Rufina will be in charge of the total operations of OXCEL Malaysia under the authority of the President of OXCEL Asia-Pacific. She is authorized to nominate potential candidates for all levels of certification awards, and to head all OXCEL activities, events, trainings, and seminars in Malaysia.
Congratulations and we hope OXCEL Malaysia will continue to excel under the leadership of Dr Maria Rufina.
Arrangements during COVID-19 pandemic
OXCEL remains open and functioning during the COVID-19 pandemic both for existing students and new applicants.
As an Ordinary Member of OXCEL, a person can attend our OXCEL 9 Qualities of Leadership CPD programme via online. Each of these qualities in 9QOL will be delivered via a stand alone module with 3 contact hours for each. Upon completion of each module, candidates will be awarded a Certificate of Completion by OXCEL Asia-Pacific. Candidates must complete all the nine modules of 9QOL in order to be awarded any of our professional certifications by OXCEL UK. All lectures will be held on e-learning basis via Zoom, Facebook Live etc.
A person awarded the Fellowship of OXCEL can now pursue our European-American University DBA Programme. From now on, all supervisions of thesis will be done via online and social media.

Further recognition for OXCEL members through European-American University programs
There are opportunities for diploma-holders of OXCEL to gain further recognition through candidacy for the overseas distance learning degree awards of European-American University (www.europeanamerican.university).
Legal information: Degrees issued by European-American University are not United Kingdom degrees, nor are they designed to be comparable to United Kingdom degrees. The degrees of European-American University are issued under European-American University’s Royal Charter of Incorporation from the Kingdom of Bunyoro-Kitara (one of the subnational kingdoms of the Republic of Uganda).

OXCEL CPD Seminar, October 2018
On 2 and 3 October 2018, OXCEL’s CPD Seminar took place at the Doubletree Hilton, The Intermark, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The convenor of the CPD Seminar was Professor Dato’ Azahari Othman, President of OXCEL Asia-Pacific. The seminar was led by Dr Michel Gagne, FDipOXCEL.
Updates on forthcoming events
- The OXCEL CPD programme which is scheduled to be on 4th & 5th September 2018 has been changed to 2nd & 3rd October 2018.
- The briefing for EAU-DBA candidates from OXCEL will be held on 13th August. Registration will be done on this day.
- Final coaching session & review session for the YLP students will be held tentatively on 7th October 2018. We are now open for YLP 2nd Intake for year 2018/2019.
